One day you just wake up to three feet of snow or a row of daffodils brightening up your walkway.
We get so comfortable in our routine.
So accustomed to the cold or to the sun.
It’s easy to forget that we humans live to change—to be renewed.
But with a new season comes a new song.
To live is to grow. To grow is to change. To change is to draw closer to Him.
“Old things have passed away, Your love has stayed the same.” —Bethel
Abraham left the known for the All Knowing One.
Can we be faithful to follow through wilderness in the hope of things promised?
Because, in the end, change demands faith.
And faith is a crop that takes time to harvest.
There is a growing process that is generally far from comfortable.
But let us never be satisfied with stagnancy.
May we continue to climb through the dirt and towards the sun with each passing day. Living on light. Having faith that the sun will rise each new morning.
